I like to work away from my desk and Mugg & Bean's bottomless coffee makes it a common destination for my weekend attempts at productivity. I know many bloggers may have posted about this but I feel the need to give my kudos to the genius behind M&B's coffee coasters.
I'm working on an interesting sustainable energy related research idea and once again found myself at Mugg & Bean. I've attached the coaster that accompanied my mug of "Single Origin" coffee. I've always enjoyed being barefoot but my girlfriend has introduced me to (the very obvious in hindsight) comfort afforded by socks in winter. I am also a trained Barista so drink little other than coffee. As a consequence, this coaster spoke to me.
It made me think of one I'd seen on a previous visit, though. It was very clever and a surprisingly motivating phrase. I've read a lot (at least for someone that subvocalises while reading) and I can think of only a small number of quotes that stick as much as this coaster's comment.

This quote is probably the only one that sticks as much to me. M&B's coaster I'm referring to simply said:
"Be as amazing your dog thinks you are"
Obviously this is something only a dog lover would get but I love it and felt i should share it. Maybe it will help someone else finish their degree.
